How Nova Lab handles information, cookies, analytics, and advertising — including Google AdSense.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Nova Lab — a learning and making lab for product design, game development, animation, digital design, architecture, and intelligent technologies — respects user privacy.

This policy explains what information may be collected when you use nova-lab.ir, how that information may be used, and what choices you have regarding information and technologies used on the site.

1. Information that may be collected

Depending on how you use the site, the following may be processed:

  • Name and details you enter in site forms
  • Email address and contact information
  • Messages and requests sent through contact forms
  • Information about projects or portfolio work submitted to Nova Lab
  • Technical information such as browser type, operating system, device type, and some usage-related data
  • IP address and technical identifiers when needed for security, traffic analysis, abuse prevention, or delivering services
  • Information about how you interact with pages and tools, when analytics or measurement services are active

Nova Lab aims to collect or process only what is needed to provide, secure, improve, and measure its services.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Nova Lab may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for site functionality, saving preferences, security, usage analysis, and delivering services.

Some cookies are set by Nova Lab; others may be set by third-party services.

Where law or regulation requires consent for non-essential technologies, those technologies will be used according to the user’s choice.

3. Google AdSense and advertising

Nova Lab may use Google AdSense to show ads on some pages.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve, measure, and manage ads.

Google states that third parties, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other sites.

The ads you see may depend on advertising settings, user consent, geographic location, and other permitted signals.

4. Personalized advertising

When personalized ads are enabled and a lawful basis or required consent exists, Google and its advertising partners may use information such as prior interactions with sites to select or personalize ads.

Users can manage Google personalized advertising settings via Google Ads Settings.

Google also recommends that publishers explain personalized advertising and how users can opt out in their Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party providers

Third-party services may be used for features, traffic analysis, advertising, security, or technical capabilities.

Depending on which services are active, they may process information such as IP address, device data, online identifiers, site interaction data, or advertising-related data.

Third-party services may include:

  • Google AdSense
  • Google Analytics
  • Google services
  • Security and infrastructure providers
  • Services used by site tools

Actual use depends on which services are active when you use the site.

6. Google and user data

When Google products are used, Google and its partners may process information through technologies such as cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and similar identifiers in connection with services, measurement, or advertising.

Google requires publishers to disclose this clearly in their Privacy Policy.

Learn more in Google’s official page: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

7. Consent and privacy choices

Where privacy and cookie laws require consent, Nova Lab aims to obtain an appropriate choice before using technologies that require consent.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, when Google personalized ads are used, Google’s consent and consent-management requirements will be followed. For these regions, Google requires a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB TCF framework for personalized advertising.

If a consent management tool is provided on the site, users can change their choices about cookies and advertising technologies.

8. Privacy & Messaging

Nova Lab may use Google AdSense Privacy & Messaging to show privacy-related messages and collect or manage user consent.

Google provides this tool to help publishers manage consent for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

9. Google Analytics

When Google Analytics is active, it may process information about how users use the site — such as pages viewed, interactions, device, and technical details — for analysis and measurement.

Analytics data storage and use may be affected by privacy choices and user consent.

Google also offers Consent Mode to connect European user consent signals with advertising and Analytics capabilities.

10. Nova Lab AI tools

Some Nova Lab tools use artificial intelligence.

When a tool runs client-side, processing may happen in the user’s browser and the file being processed may not be uploaded to Nova Lab servers.

When a tool needs an external service or Nova Lab servers, how data is processed should be described on that tool’s page.

Users should not enter or upload sensitive or unnecessary personal information into public tools.

11. Security

Nova Lab takes technical and organizational measures appropriate to its services to protect user information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No system for transmitting or storing information over the internet can be guaranteed completely risk-free.

12. Data retention

Information is kept only as long as needed for purposes such as providing services, responding to requests, security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes, unless law requires a longer period.

Retention periods may vary by data type and processing purpose.

13. User rights

Depending on applicable law where you live, you may have rights including:

  • Requesting access to personal information
  • Requesting correction of inaccurate information
  • Requesting deletion where applicable
  • Requesting restriction of processing
  • Objecting to certain types of processing
  • Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent
  • Requesting information about how data is processed

For privacy-related requests, contact Nova Lab via the signal form.

14. External links

Nova Lab pages may include links to third-party sites or services.

Nova Lab is not responsible for the privacy policies or data practices of external sites. Review their Privacy Policy before using those services.

15. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when new features, services, analytics or advertising tools are added, or when legal requirements change.

The updated version will be published on this page.

16. Paid tool exports

Using the tools is free. A file download, print or PDF, and a report copy go to the payment page before delivery. The tool name, export type, and amount are sent to Nova Lab’s server and the card gateway to confirm payment.

The file or report text is not stored on Nova Lab’s server. It stays in the browser until payment is confirmed.
